On July 28, 2023, the Vietnam Hepatobiliary Association and the Vietnam Hepatobiliary Pancreatic Surgery Association in collaboration with the Central Tropical Hospital and the World Health Organization Representative in Vietnam successfully organized Annual conference celebrating World Hepatitis Day with the theme: “Update on new advances in hepatitis, cirrhosis and liver cancer”.

The conference took place in the large hall of the Central Tropical Hospital, facility 1 – Hanoi, online on the Zoom Meeting platform, attracting nearly 600 medical experts/staff nationwide. During the discussion session, reporters presented many scientific research contents, updated disease screening trends, multimodal treatment methods & hepatobiliary surgery, cirrhosis, liver cancer, etc.

Useful information shared at the Conference will be a practical basis to improve the effectiveness of diagnosis, treatment and patient care at medical facilities and hospitals.
