On September 5, 2026, the school grounds in Ho Thau Commune, Tuyen Quang Province, were filled with an atmosphere of excitement and joy. The cheerful voices and laughter of 810 students echoed across the mountains. Following the merger of three schools - Ho Thau, Nam Son, and Nam Khoa Primary and Lower Secondary Schools - the students not only reunited with old friends but also welcomed many new faces, beginning a new school year together under one roof.

Behind those bright and innocent smiles, however, are countless challenges. Most of the students come from ethnic minority families living in poor or near-poor households. In Ho Thau, one of the particularly disadvantaged mountainous areas, getting to school can mean hours of traveling through forests and across steep, winding mountain roads. For many students, school has become a second home, where they stay in the boarding facility throughout the week. When winter arrives, the harsh highland cold becomes an even greater challenge for their small frames and thin layers of clothing.

Understanding these difficulties, and in response to the heartfelt request of the teachers, the “Noi vong tay lon” Charity Group of Minh Tam Medical Equipment Co., Ltd., together with the support of Dr. Le Viet Quang, Head of the Department of Biochemistry at Ha Giang General Hospital, decided to bring warmth and care to the students.

To share the joy of the new school year, the charity delegation set off at 4:00 a.m., traveling more than 100 kilometers along winding mountain roads and steep passes surrounded by deep ravines. A total of 450 warm blankets and thick mattresses, worth more than VND 106 million, were delivered directly to the students.

More than material gifts, these blankets and mattresses offer a sense of comfort and security, helping protect the students from the bitter winter cold and providing them with warmer, more restful nights. With this small but meaningful support, the students can continue their journey toward education with greater confidence and hope. Deeply moved by the meaningful gesture, Mr. Duong Van Thuong, Principal of the school, expressed his sincere gratitude to the “Noi vong tay lon” Charity Group on behalf of the school leadership. Amid the mist-covered mountains of Tuyen Quang, this year's opening ceremony marked not only the beginning of a new school year, but also the lighting of a flame of compassion, solidarity, and hope.

In the time ahead, the “Noi vong tay lon” Charity Fund will continue connecting generous hearts and joining hands to build a more compassionate community—where every child has the opportunity to learn, grow, and pursue their own dreams.
