From September 18–19, 2026, the 29th Hanoi and Northern Provinces Medical Biochemistry Scientific Conference was held in Quang Ninh City under the theme: “Strengthening Laboratory Management and Updating Medical Knowledge to Elevate the Position of the Vietnam Association of Medical Biochemistry in a New Era".The conference served as a prestigious scientific forum, bringing together 1,000 delegates, experts, scientists, physicians, and medical laboratory technicians.
The conference featured 54 articles published in the Community Medicine Journal and 33 in-depth presentations covering a wide range of modern and highly applicable research topics, including artificial intelligence (AI); the application of algorithms and novel biomarkers for risk stratification and non-invasive diagnosis of liver fibrosis; and laboratory quality control research. Through the scientific sessions, the conference reaffirmed its role as a vital bridge between basic scientific research and clinical practice, contributing to improved diagnosis, treatment, and healthcare services.
